I'm a first time mom and about to be a first time traveler with an infant. Any helpful tips regarding what to pack, how to help his ears, hotel tips..?

During taxi give them either a pacifier or a bottle. This will help their ears pop.

Make sure you pack something to keep his mind busy, you know which hand held toys he prefers.

If he has a favorite stuffed animal or blanket bring that.

Pack more diapers than you think you'll need. For some reason after flying they need to pee more.

Always try to bring something that reminds them of home, it will give him the comfort he needs when away from it.

Good luck to you. I recall having to sing lullabies to my daughter when she was that age on a plane trip. I'm sure the rest of the passengers weren't thrilled, but it was better than the sound of a crying infant.
