We are planning a trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico when my youngest child will be eight months old. I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions or concerns as far as vaccines/recommendations from doctors regarding traveling with a young baby. I am concerned that he will be too young

We brought a case of bottled water with us on the plane, just stuck the whole case in a suitcase and checked it thru to Mexico. You can get bottled water there of course we were just being cautious.

be very careful with the water there. would be awful if your baby came down with montezuma's revenge

If you are going to a resort, you need not worry about vaccines. I traveled with my 7 month old and my doctor was fine with her safety. I was nursing at the time and that was part of the rational, that my child was receiving my immunity to diseases. To be certain you can call and talk to a travel medicine specialist.
