I need help on what I should take if I should take a car seat/ stroller. Should I purchase a seat for my infant? Also how to prepare myself so baby wont be fussy on the flight.

I traveled with my four kids to Mexico when they were 8, 5, 3, and 7 months. If your baby will have a ticket then bring the car-seat on the plane to buckle the baby down for the take of and landing and for sleeping. If baby is riding as a lap passenger, you can check your car-seat as luggage. If you will not be traveling in cars while you are there you can leave the car seat at home. Definitely bring the stroller. You can check it at the gate and then when you land they airline staff will meet you at the gate with the stroller. I did not have a seat for my child, she sat on my lap and nursed most of the flight. This is a matter of preference for you. make sure you bring a blanket for baby as planes can be chilly. Also, nursing or bottle feeding during take off and landing will help baby ears stay open.
How long of a flight do you have? Ignore the offer to board early, I mean it, ignore the offer. The ONLY benefit is first pick of the overhead storage. The HUGE downside is you are going to extend your time on the plane by an hour; and that is a drag.
Baby may fuss, but planes are noisy and you'd be surprised how little others will notice. Ask the flight attendant for extra air sickness bags to use for wipes, dirty diapers, and other trash. Bring a full change of clothing and a clothing that is appropriate for the weather when you land,
