My husband and I are living in Boise ID, the nearest air force base is Mountain Home AFB, it is about 45 minutes from where we are living. We are expecting our first baby in March. I have been seeing my doctor at the downtown Boise St. Lukes Hospital. We will be receiving tri-care after my husband finishes basic and tech. I am wondering if my doctor visits will be reimbursed by the military after we get our tri-care. We were told by someone that we had to go to the OBGYN on the base nearest us and that i would have to deliver the baby on that base as well in order to have the tri-care cover the appointments. But that is a long drive just for appointments and a long drive once im in labor. His recruiter wasnt very clear and we cant seem to find a straight answer from anyone.
