PLEASE HELP!!!!

My daughter is almost nine months old but looks likes she's three months old. The thing is she is struggling to pick up weight. I have tried everythingI can, Maize porridge, vegetables and even changing her milk but nothing seems to work. She's currently sick so we feed her with a medicine syringe. Even though the doc gave her sumthing for appetite it doesn't work. I'm so frustrated. PLEASE HELP ME

Multi-vitamins will not increase an appetite, but are given to help meet nutritional needs n a child that is not eating, gaining weight or reaching milestones. What is she eating now? What was her birth weight and what is her weight now? Was she ever ill? Has she been reaching milestones like crawling and sitting? Why does the doctor think she is so small? Has she been evaluated for a malabsorption or metabolic disorder?

I hadon't a very traumatic nd problematic pregnancy, of which I lost one baby, she was supposed to have a twin. I suffer from post partum depression and many other things. I feed her anything else because 1) she never really picked up weight even when I was breastfeeding exclusively 2) the doc gave her multi vitamins to help her gain an appetite but it doesn't seem to work

What did the doctor give you? Also, why are you feeding her anything but formula right now? Although a 9 month old can eat solids, until you get her weight up, formula is probably the most nutrient dense food you can feed her. Did she lose weight or has she always been small? Was she full term?
