Hello! My daughter turned one three weeks ago. Her entire first year we coslept. It was amazing! If I could I'd do it til she is 18. Haha. Okay, anyway.. She's now sleeping in her crib. It was rough the first few nights but she's getting use to it. However, naptimes are not going well. We have pretty active mornings, then it's lunchtime, I read her a few books, she nurses (yes, still breastfeeding!), and then I put her in the crib. She doesn't cry but whines for a good 5-10 minutes. Then, she's out. The problem is, she wakes up 30 minutes later and won't go back down. I've tried everything and even though I know she needs more sleep, she won't.... Unless she finishes her nap on me. I've been consistent and today I caved and let her nap on me because this crazy kid hasn't had more than 30 minutes of a nap all week! Any suggestions? Or will I get the expected responses... "This too shall pass". Any advice is helpful. Thanks Mamas. ♥
