I'm going to start this off with... This is about my fears and my opinions. Please don't comment if you're going to be harsh...

My boyfriend and I have been with one another for 4 years. We have a beautiful 2 month old... My boyfriend has always been a hard worker. He shows up, and works hard. What he was making however... Was putting us at poverty levil. I'm a full time nursing student and before I had my daughter I worked in sales to try and make money to support us. Now that we have our baby... My bf is now seeing he needs to make more money to support us. He has turned to Trucking. He will be attending school with Prime and they will hire him in afterwards. My fear of him being gone makes me stay up at night. Taking care of my child, and figuring out how to do it alone doesn't scare me. She is my child and I don't see her as a burden. So I won't feel upset that he isn't here to help with that... I'm more worried about what it will do to our family. But how can I be upset when he is stepping up and making more money...

This is a little all over the place ( lack of sleep and scattered thoughts)

Don't be afraid! He's doing what he's supposed to do as a Father and a provider. It will be tough at first, but you will get used to it. Enjoy the alone time to spend more time on yourself! I dated a guy that worked on the railroad and was gone for whole seasons at a time. We were together 3 years, and after a year he got the job. I always loved my alone time.. I never had to worry about making plans with him- I went shopping, went to the gym and invested in my own hobbies. Remember- you are still young and you are still your own person. Investing in yourself is the best thing you can do for your family.
