we have 4 children,youngest just turned 6,been trying for some time to concieve one more bub,any tips???apart from timing!!,taking folic acid and try to eat healthy.have regular periods,blood test shows i am non menopausal.

thanks for your advice,will see regarding a specialist.a friend of mine just had a baby at 46 concieved naturally,her 6th child,so there's hope for us too.

Well, the fact is, at your age, you only have a 5% chance of conceiving in any one month, and in fact, only 10% of your eggs are likely to be any good. Most couples who conceive at your age do actually require some form of fertility treatment, even if they are not menopausal yet. I would suggest that if you have been trying for longer than six month, at your age, you should consider speaking to a fertility specialist for a little bit of help :)
