I have read everywhere that 3 months old are supposed to be smiling at this age, but I don't see anything that tells how often they should do it. My LO smiles very rarely, so I dont know if I should be concerned by this, or not be concerned since it's not that she has NEVER done it. Anyone know?

There is no "standard". All children are different, so placing some sort of standard on how often they smile is something you don't need. I wouldn't worry about it.
