Trying to get my 18mo off the bottle

Throw the bottles out.....If you don't have any bottles in the house then no one can give in. Right now he is getting his way so why should he drink from the sippy. If the sippy is the only option then eventually he will drink from it. At first it will not be as much but as he gets more used to the sippy it will go back up. At his age he should only be needing about 12 ounces of milk daily. The crying may last a few days to a week. A lot will depend on your child's personality and how much you have given in in the past.

How Long Does It Last Usually? I Tried To Let Him Cry It Out And Not Give It To Him, But My Husband Gives In Much Easier Than Me. Also, When He Doesn't Get His Bottle He Won't Eat Or Drink His Milk Out Of His Sippy Cup. I'm Just Worried About Not Eating Or Drinking.

My advice would be to throw the bottles out. Right now he knows that if he cries long enough he will get the bottle. Throw them out. You will have a couple of rough days but once he realizes that there is no bottle it will pass.
