I'm 21 years old and me and my husband have been married almost a year :) We both work full-time and even though we are still settling into this routine, we think it is as good a time as any to start trying for a little one of our own. But, I was on the depo provera shot for 2 years and now I am on Norethindrone, a progesterone only pill (POPs). I quit taking the pill a few weeks ago, but would my shot still be having an effect on me now? I've heard even though i switched to something else, the shot could still be working...I just would like some advice on how to possibly increase our chances of concieving soon :) Thank you ladies in advance!

I've been told 6 months to a year, ive been told about getting pregnant on the shot...i guess it really just varies woman to woman...my mom got pregnant on it twice, and had my brother after switching to the pill from the shot...

Not sure how long the shot works for. Make a call into your doctor and ask how long it lasts and when you can start trying.
