The general rule of thumb is that it takes 1 yr to lose the weight you gained during pregnancy if you are loosing it in a healthy manner. Breastfeeding can or cannot help with weight loss. You need to keep your calorie intake up or your milk production goes down, so it is hard to "diet" during breastfeeding. It can also be hard to exercise when feeding a newborn as it usually takes about 30 to 45 mins to feed and breastfed babies tend to eat every 2 to 3 hrs. There are some that do loose weight while breastfeeding, some that gain weight during breastfeeding, and some that stay the same weight until they are done breastfeeding.

I know a few that went on a healthy eating and 30 min excercize plan called 21 day fix and I know it works because I lost 11 pounds in 21 days and I couldn't breast feed

I agree, Sarah H covers it all. Take care of yourself, and take it slow. If you cut your calories and nutrition too much, your body will pull from you bones and muscle to make the milk you need to feed baby. You really don't want to end up with early low bone density.
