In November this year my placenta came away at 26 weeks. I had an emergency c section (classic incision) and Louie was delivered. Unfortunately he only survived 13 hrs :(. I am devastated beyond words. I really want to have a baby so want to try again.
I want to know how long I have to wait? Doc told me a yr but not sure if that meant between c sections or ttc? I'm really worried that it will happen again.
I am on maternity leave with a nursery and no baby :( I just really want to hold a baby in my arms. The thought of waiting a yr is killing me.

Thank you this has helped me a lot. Sorry for late reply. Ive spoken to doctor and she has said ill be ok after 3 months. I think I will try and take my time and try when I'm ready. At least I know I will be ok if I do get pregnant sooner. Thanks again :)

Hey there, I just wanted to say sorry for your loss I can't imagine what you are going through.

I think it's best to listen to the doctors advise especially since you just underwent a major surgery that needs time to close up and heal.

I found this article that may help you understand more:
http://www.babycenter.com/404_how-long-s...

Basically, if you give your body time to heal properly for a year it'll help reduce risks of complications that could happen from going back to trying again after giving birth via vaginally or c section. You need time to recover not only on the outside but on the inside too, seek counciling if you must because losing a baby is not an easy thing for a lot of people to overcome themselves.

I know a year seems long but look at it this way, let it be your motivation to get super healthy for the next round. Once you're able to excersize again go jogging and eat and sleep right. I imagine your hubby needs time to heal from this too so you both can support eachother he can get counciling along with you.
