Tubes cut and burned, missed period

I had my tubes cut and burned after the birth of my second child. (Not c section) which was back in 2005. I was 22 years old. I'm now 31 and have ALWAYS had my period on time. Not even a day late. This month it felt like my period was coming, and nothing. Its been a week now, still nothing! I been nauseous, craving foods, waking up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. The last time I ever felt this way was when I was pregnant. I took a test it read negative. So I can't be pregnant, right? What other hormonal problem could this be? I don't have heavy bleeding. No cramps. My last checkup in Oct everything was normal, even my thyroid. Doc told me I'm as healthy as a young 20 year old. Thanks in advance.

Well, tests can be wrong. It comes down to the hormone levels in your urine. It might just be too soon to tell. You could wait a few days or a week and try again. If the tests are still negative, it might be time for another visit to the doctor.

If the test, however, is positive, you should get it check out right away, because you are a high risk for ectopic pregnancy, so you want to make sure this won't be an issue for you.
