Ok so just take a nice deep breath and calm down. If you have a humidifier, turn it on in their room at night to make it easier for them to breath and get all the snot out. Don't force meds, just offer them fluids like water to help them keep hydrated. Milk can make them more phlegmy. Offer them small amounts of food. And if they are running a fever, you can offer them Popsicle. If you can get some motrin in them, go for it, but if that is to difficult, they may need to ride it out. Just give them lots of cuddles and love, cause really that is all they will want. Nice bath can calm them down also.
