Hi! I am currently having concerns with a male two year old child. I try to play with him with toys, nursery rhymes, games, songs, books, etc. but he shows very little interest. If he tries to engage at all, it's a hurried two minutes (if that) before he's off getting into something. He won't even play with toys outside, he only likes to go for a walk or to the park. It's too cold for that though, so when we are at home, all he wants to do is pull things from the counter, pull spoons and forks from the drawer, and take stuff from the fridge. He either just throws dishes on the floor, or he takes ranch dressing and pours it on the bottom (carpeted) step of the stairs. He always takes stuff and hides on that bottom step. He even takes dirty dishes from the counter and tries to eat old food off then, and when I go to take it from him, he screams, runs, and throws it. How can I make him stop causing all these messes and play with toys or engage in books or coloring? PLEASE HELP IM GETTING EXHAUSTED CHASING AFTER HIM CONSTANTLY.
