My daughter will not eat! It's not like she is picky or unhappy, she just doesn't want to eat. She will eat maybe one or two small things a day. She always tells me she isn't hungry but she always wants something to drink. How do I get her to stop drinking so much and start eating more? I am starting to really worry. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Cat

Gosh, toddlers are the worst about eating! I know there are times my 18 month old just refuses to eat, though I really think he should be hungry. If your daughter is drinking alot, she is probably getting her daily caloric needs through her liquids. Maybe you could offer her favorite drink as a reward for eating some solid foods. And, give her lots of choices. For instance, "eat this peice of cheese or this banana, and then you can have your juice." Good luck!

Is she teething? My son stopped eating when the teething got bad. Or has she always been like that?
