I just found out I am 4 weeks pregnant. Probably the best surprise I've ever had. I am 28 and was diagnosed at age 3. I was brought up thinking that steel magnolias was the only outcome to diabetic pregnancies so I had given up on the idea. I'm super happy that isn't the case but I also have no clue what I have gotten myself into. I am trying to figure out who I need to make an appointment with first and actually an idea if how many new doctors I'll need?! I have a regular endo and a pcp. I know planning beforehand is always better but that option is gone! Just looking for a little guidance from a long time diabetic with zero pregnancy experience!!
