My daughter is 16 months and I'm still breastfeeding BUT I started to use almond milk at 12 months to make her fruit and veggie smoothies everyday. I'm a working mom so I pump throughout the day but I want to elimanate the pumping (I need a break...lol) but continue to breastfeed before I leave to work, after work and before bedtime. She will need to replace the day time bottle when I stop pumping (or will she need one at all if breastfeeding 3 times a day?) but I want to be reassured that she is getting the proper nutrients in the milk I chose. Is almond milk or rice milk enough in nutrients to give her? Any suggestions for non dairy milks? Also, once I start weaning her, whatever milk I chose I will need to make sure it has the proper nutrients as far as calories and fat.
