Scans are not 100% accurate, you know. There is actually a failure rate.

Can't know for sure. It's more likely that they would be able to tell in the 19th scan because the fetus is more developed, but I know of several people who thought they knew and got a surprise when the baby was born. Did you have a lot of morning sickness? Apparently, that's a sign that the baby is a girl. I had LOTS of morning sickness and had a girl, but some friends had boys and morning sickness. WHo knows...maybe it'll be a surprise!

Even if they tell you one gender it's always best to buy neutral colours. That way you aren't dressing your new baby boy in pink or vice versa.
Just because a doctor has had years of experience, they are only human and can still make mistakes.

Buy neutral, that's what I did. And then I went on another shopping spree after she was born :)

Its better not to know the gender of the baby...two different results is making me irritated.. Whether to buy pink or blue making me confused

Or you may never know for sure. I never did - my daughter sat in a position that they just couldn't tell, and even though I had quite a number of scans in my pregnancy, they never could.
