I took a home pregnancy test on June 8 that showed a VERY faint positive, June 9 had bloodwork done at doc that came back positive. I had not had a cycle since April, so going by that I should have been 8 weeks at my OB appt on the 19th- PA did internal exam and stated I was def 6-8 weeks and ordered an US for that day- vaginal US only showed an empty sac- no yolk, no pole, and that I was only 3-4 weeks along. My HCG was 5000, and I had it redrawn on the 21 and it was 8000, so it is still going up. I still have pregnancy symptoms, actually worse now than before, with increased nausea, sore breasts, headaches. They have scheduled me for another US on Tuesday, and I am still worried that it may be too soon to see anything! I have yet to even find out how far along I am, but judging by my HCG levels, should be 6 weeks. Has anyone else ever been through this? Thanks!

Thanks Cherish! I have been trying to busy myself as to not worry, but it is still there in the back of my mind! I am still having plenty of symptoms, and no bleeding/ cramping, so hopefully it will all be good tomorrow!

Hi,
I would not stress out.
I had a blighted ovum(which is when you were pregnant but then your not,but your body did not get the "hint",I was 12 weeks and they did the ultrasound and nothing was there but I felt pregnant)
I also had something else a "failed preg"(I think) but 2 preg test were positive then they stared being neg)

It is good your HCG levels are rising and it is good your OB is staying on top of it.
Don't stress,it's not helpful and there is nothing you can do about it anyhow ya know.

Here is a link about HCG and how much it is supposed to increase.
I am sure it's fine :)
