ok so im a little over 38 weeks pregnant and today has just been a weird day so to speak....ive been having contractions since late last night but not bad enough to make me go running to the hospital just yet...i can feel my baby is lower and there is a LOT of pressure down there...of course ive been having discharge every pregnant woman does but mine turned from a yellowish color to a greenish color...does this mean i have an infection of some sort or is this normal...im kind of worried i never lost my mucus plug with my other two kids but this one i have been losing it the last few days and now with the color change im not sure what to think

Just wanted to give you ladies an update...i went to the hospital a few hours after i made this post just to be on the safe side and it is a good thing that i did...my water had not broken but i was leaking fluid because there was windows in my uterus my baby girl was born just a few hours after getting to the hospital via c-section. She was born healthy with no problems and we are home now. The doctor said if i would have waited any longer i would of ruptured and it would of killed us both before i got to a hospital...so thank you ladies for the advice to get my ass moving ;)

A big misconception about having your water break is everybody thinks it's going to be in a huge gush. That is not the case with all women. I would go to the hospital immediately if you are having a green discharge. That is not normal at all, in my opinion. That could mean you have a type of infection and it could harm the baby.
