I have a 27 months old who just is not gaining weight. If anyone can recommend something please . The thing is that I am a working mom, so she goes to creche and I dont know if she gats enough food during the day, but thc clinic sister told me that I should consult a dietician cause my baby`s weight is not good.

Definitely talk to the dietician. It won't hurt you to be informed about diet and nutrition and what to watch for with your daughter. Keep in mind though, that some kids are just small... especially if it runs in the family. All of our kids are light, and our youngest was three years old before size 2 clothing fit him. Also, failure to gain weight is much less worrying than a toddler who is actually losing weight. That said, kids at daycare can be sometimes be very distracted and less likely to eat. For toddlers, breakfast is usually their best meal of the day anyway (they tend to naturally eat less at lunch and even less at supper). Try to give her breakfast at home and make it count as much as possible by offering healthy, nutrient dense foods. The nutritionist can help with suggestions for sure.
