Its been 4 weeks since ive had my baby and last night i dont know how i let my husband convince me into having sex, the thought about it terrified me, but he provoked and pressured me enough to let it happen, now im in fear i could be pregnant again.Could it be possible i could be pregnant even though im breast feeding constantly?

I did tell him constantly no, and it wasnt even my idea i even cried because i was so scared, i always let him be incontrol which is a very bad thing... but i guess i felt bad that he kept on nagging and nagging i just let it happen, which was stupid of me because now i did my research that sex after pregnancy makes u at high risk of getting pregnant again even if ur breast feeding

Let me give the brighter side of the issue. 6 weeks is a suggested amount of time to continue being sexually active after a baby. My midwife said its totally up to the women. Don't feel bad for having sex with your husband. On the other hand If you all would like to avoid another pregnancy right away it's something the two of you need to discuss openly. Although you it's possible to conceive while breast feeding the chances are still the same. So relax and have the talk with you husband. It's something sexy about a wife that's just given birth. Your husband I am sure didn't mean to hurt you or make you feel bad, but have the talk.

It's quite possible that you are pregnant. May I be so bold as to suggest counseling for the way he pressures you into sex? I went through the same thing and it is NOT ok.

More than likely not. It usually takes closer to 3 - 4 weeks in order for the hormones to get through your bloodstream to show up positive on a pregnancy test. Just be careful.

Breast feeding doesn't mean anything. You are still extremely fertile at this point in time. You can easily get pregnant while breastfeeding. You and hubby will just have to find other ways to relieve the pressure.

Yes you could be pregnant again.

Your husband should respect you enough that when you say no it means no. Rape can occur in marriages as well. There is a reason doctors advise against sex until at least 6 weeks after birth.

Have you ever heard of Irish Twins. You are very fertile after giving birth.

You shouldn't be havin intercourse after only 4 weeks anyway. Figure out another method that can work for you both until you are ready. And make a determination on what kind of birth control you will be using. And if you are already pg well the you are and you'll be proud parents of "Irish Twins" the sooner you find out the better you'll feel. See your OB. Good luck!
