I put my daughter in a jumperoo at 4 1/2 to 5 months old. She loved it, but she always loved to try and stand up and bounce when we were holding her on our laps. I would make sure that your baby can hold it's head up unassissted and that small motions don't cause the babies head to wobble a whole bunch.

Try an exersaucer or what ever there called, I had my daughter in one at about 4 months then switched to the jumper at about 6 months :)

From their site:

"Developmental Guidelines:

Use only for a child who is able to hold head up unassisted and who is not able to climb out or walk."

http://www.fisher-price.com/fp.aspx?st=2...

But these things in general aren't good for developing babies. They force them to do things i.e. stand up before they are developmentally ready. There's a reason why there's an order of when we do things like rolling etc.

Hmmm....chances are your baby is not going to be able to push hard enough to have anything happen, but I would worry about head motion. I think those things typically say 6 months and up right?
