If you are seeing your doctor the best thing to do while waiting is to LOSE THE ANXIETY!!! Anxiety can cause the problem to become worse. Are you doing any deep breathing to help relieve the pain.

If you are good at visualization, then take in a deep breath and when you feel the cramps exhale and imagine the breath going through your uterus and blowing the pain out
through your vagina.

If you are not good at visualization, the deep breathing will still help to ease the pain.

The Hawaiian breath used in this manner (to calm the body, mind and soul) is to exhale to 15, hold 5 counts. then inhale to 15, hold 5 counts. and repeat this process until you feel the calm taking over. If you cannot get to 15, practice until you can. Just distracting the mind in this form of concentration will also help.

May your problem turn out to be a minor one and may you be restored to health as soon as possible.

An ectopic pregnancy would show positive, I would suggest cysts as I have had them and they are extremely painful, go to doctors and ask to see a consultant as my doctor ignored mine for 5 years and I ended up having a total hysterectomy aged 30yrs. Take Care.

when you are gong to the doctors and that are they giving you an ultrasound? and i cant remember the name , but the one inside to get abetter look? i was having heaving bleeding at six weeks and a few cramps and i was certain i was about to miscarry , went to emergency deparment and they kept me monitored for a few days , bleeding started to go brown which they said is a good tihng but yeh stopped now and all seems to be good , but if they havent done that yet i would suggest because thats how i knew i had a blood clot..... might be able to determine whats going on..

When I had these pains after my baby I took a HOT SALT bath til I was pruned that helped. Sometimes I would get cramps when I had to much caffeine, this includes chocolate. I cut out all caffeine and I rarely get cramps now. I wish you luck and pain free days

According to your symptoms this could be one of many things. My best advice would be make sure you keep your doctors appointment!

I was also going to say a cyst. I have them and they are VERY painful. I also have endmetriosis which causes very painful periods.

Good luck at the doctor.

I'm pretty sure if it was etopic, you would test positive. However, I am not a doctor.

It really could be anything from some bad ovulation pain, to fibroids, to hormonal issues.

The best thing, relax, lay down and take some tylenol. Then go to the doctor. If the pain get to be a 9 out of 10 on the pain scale, go to emerg right away.

Sorry you are in pain. Sounds like you are doing the right thing by going to the doctors, if you weren't, that is what I would suggest. I don't know how hot it is where you are, but if it is not to bad out, getting a hot water bottle and put it on your lower abdomen. That may help. Best of luck!
