with my first child I had to have an emergency cesarean simply because my hips would not spread to allow the baby through with my currant pregnancy my joints have started shifting which has giving me the hope that I might be able to have a natural delivery although I am having a hard time finding good information on it so I am wondering if there is anybody who has gone through this and been able to have a natural birth after?

I was told I needed to wait 16-18 months to get pregnant again after my c-section for me to hope to have a vbac. My first is only 4 months old so I'm hoping against hope that my next one will workout as a vbac. I had to have my daughter via cesarean because she wouldn't flip over and was in a frank breech position. Because my pelvis could have been too small I didn't want her getting stuck and dying.. or me dying during delivery. Hopefully #2 flips to head down!

i know there are few hospitals that allow VBACs. it just depends on where you go and how long after your previous c-section. since your body didnt adjust the first time for the child to be born naturally, chances are the doctors this time will do the same thing just to be safe unless things move like they are supposted to. i wish you the best of luck and if you do manage to have this one naaturally, let me know what hospital you had the baby at. im thinking about gettin pregnant again, and really want a VBAC, but the hospitals around here do not do them

I almost had to have a c-section with my son because he had a HUGE head! Luckily I managed to squeeze him out in the last second before they got me prepped for a c-section. However, they did tell me that if I had to have a c-section, I could still have a natural birth after, as long as I waited over 2 years between pregnancies. If I didn't, I would have to have another c-section. And after two c-sections, all your babies would have to be born that way. Good luck!
