I am experiencing the worst case of itchy scalp! I have used the certain types of shampoo and that isn't working. I have never had this problem before. I can't stand it! I think it also goes hand in hand with the losing hair thing. Which I am also having problems with! Any home remedy advice?

I have had a similar problem. With my first one hers appeared kind of like dandruff but was yellowish. The doctor gave me a prescription to use a cream. That worked. But with my second child, i was told it would go away as she gets bigger. It did but I also used baby oil on her. So you may want to try baby oil. You could brush it in with the soft brush. Otherwise, your child should grow out of it in time. Hope this helps.

Olive oil has helped me with my dry scalp just put olive oil on your scalp and leave it for about 30minutes and then wash and rinse. When i had a very itchy scalp the doctor gave me a special shampoo i think its called Ketomed it worked wonders for me.
Just a little tip about losing hair,i was losing alot of hair and then found out i was having problems with my thyroids. To any woman that are losing hair get your thyroids checked with a blood sample. I would have never thought it had to do with my thyroids.

Don't wash it every day, it strips the natural oils from the scalp. or use a very simple shampoo such as baby shampoo.

Hi denise! If you have just have dry itchy scalp, you could try leaving in a conditioner for about and hour than rinsing it out. Or leaving it in over night and rinsing it out in the morning. You could even try putting mayonnaise on your scalp an hour a day also. It should take care of the dryness.
