My 23 mo daughter has never had a problem at bedtime to I recently. When we put her in her crib she cries so hard she vomits. I don't know what to do.if she falls asleep in my arms as soon as I lay her down she wakes up & I'm back to where I was. Help! We're both tired. Other than this issue she's been awesome. :)

Thank you! My husband & I decided we're going to put her bed in her room this weekend. Hopefully that helps :)

I would get rid of the crib since she's nearly two. She's going to have to be out of it soon. There's no point in working on this with the crib as part of it when the crib's days are numbered.

I would put a bed in her room, or even just a mattress on the floor to start. Rather than having her fall asleep in your arms you can snuggle in bed and just get up when she is asleep or nearly asleep.

Sometimes starting the bedtime routine earlier helps. If toddlers are overtired that can make them harder to settle.

Another thing that can help is if part of your bedtime routine is with the lights out. Listen to music, sing some songs together in quiet voices, recite some quiet rhymes, tell her a story you make up about her or some of her stuffed toys, etc.
