Way to young for a walker. Even an excersaucer, you need to be careful and make sure baby has full control and support of his/her own neck. One big push off and be harmful if they don't control their neck well.
I don't have an issue with walkers. My son used one and it really helped him. He was never a crawler, but wanted to move around.

Never. They aren't even manufactured in the US anymore due to accidents. The AAP even advises no walkers as they can delay your child's ability to started ambulating. Now, an exersaucer, or johnny jump up, is another matter. You can start hose when you baby can support his upper body well enough so he isn't flopping around in the seat. Usually around 4-6 months.
