Dear Moms,

I have a 26-month-old very naughty and energetic child. He is 26-month-old now, he can spell out all alphabets A-Z with their description, even spells like difficult words I for Igloo and also can spell 1-20 along with he can write few alphabets A to D and some numbers. Also, he recites some poems word to word like Twinkle Twinkle and some others also, recognizes some historical personalities by their names on laptop if I show him their pictures. I want to know is this normal or should I treat him little differently.

Again, he's and inquisitive and intelligent 2 year old.
The thing that concerns me is that you are already letting him access your laptop (no, him being ABLE to is not the concern...kids are inquisitive, and when they watch their parents do something, they imitate). at this age, you need to be interacting with him, not handing him the laptop or plopping him in front of a screen.

If the child can properly start up and shut down the computer, at the age of 2, then you ARE letting him have more access than you're admitting.

Treat him differently how? He's not especially 'gifted', if that's what you're looking for, he's an inquisitive and intelligent 2 year old. Mine were the same, and have grown into wonderful adults.
