We have been trying for about 1 and half year now for 2nd baby. It took us only 2 months to concieve my son so it didn't occur to us that it would be a problem to have the 2nd one, esp. we went to our annual check ups and everything was fine. Our doctor told us it is quite a common problem and had refer us to a fertility clinic. But because we are still in our 30s and already have a child, we probably will have to have a year or so for an appointment. Meanwhile, we are using ovaluation kits to maximise our chance. Just cross our fingers and see.

We got pregnant with my first a couple of weeks after stopping the pill. I never even had a period! Now, we are ttc #2 and it's been 3 unsuccessful months and my cycle keeps getting longer making it harder to know when I'm ovulating. We have been trying every other day hoping that will be the right timing. I had an emergency c-section with a hemorrhage so I have several layers of stitches so I'm scared the scar tissue is causing a problem. My ob said they wouldn't do anything till I was unsuccessful for 6 months to a year.

Don't give up hope just don't stress about it too much (easy to say I know). For our first child we did ovulation induction (I have PCOS) and got pregnant on the 2nd go. 12months later my husband was diagnosed with testicular cancer. We tried IVF after he got the all clear but it didn't work and put too much strain on us. We decided we were happy with our little girl. 7 years later in January I decided to bite the bullet and sell the baby stuff - yep you guessed it 3 months later I was pregnant! Oscar is now 2.5 and we would like another one but hey aren't really expecting it to happen. I think when you don't think about it your body relaxes and does what comes naturally. Good luck!

It took me 3 years and many tests to fall pregnant with my first child, I was told to give up by the drs as my body would not be able to take the pressure of pregnancy, I was very ill while carrying my first daughter and had to have my gallbladder removed a couple of months after the birth. It then took me another 6 years to fall pregnant with my second child - this time I was told by drs that I should not have fallen pregnant as there was a danger to my health, by the end of this pregnancy I had trouble moving and was told that I could have ended up disabled if I kept moving around. Now the drs have warned that another baby would be fatal for me.

I was on pills for the first 6 months from the day I was married and when I stopped, I got pregnant within the same month, with my first child. For my second child, I thought it would be the same and tested a weak positive (not a strong pink colour) within a month of stopping contraceptives (December '07) but 1 month after testing positive I bled thoroughly-- "it aborted" was what the Dr said but I felt like I mourned a death.

Every month I hoped and was disappointed that after a while, I stopped hoping and went about life, making effort not to feel desperate and finally tested positive in September 2008, and I was already 2 1/2 months along. So that was about 8 months of waiting.

it took us about 6 months after the first to get our son we have now we were tring off and on so idk if we were tring or not when we conceived our son some women say that when they stoped tring they concieved so you could try that or you could try obvulation tests i know with our next thats what were going to do so maybe we can get a girl so we want to study it some and a months worth of test is about 17 or 18 bucks at walmart and you can try that you get about 20 tests so i think it is worth it but you might try that and can you remember when you think you conceived your other two around from your periods that might help too im not sure but i dont think they change to much after the kids are born but i could be wrong since were not all the same but it didnt change much or at all between my two

I have polly cystic ovarian syndrom so to have our daughter was quite hard we tryed for 3 years without success and then went onto clomid and after the 3rd month on that we fell pregnant! this does make me worry a little about how hard it will be to consive again. were not ready for no2 yet but you dont want it to be to big gap either... i hope it happens for yous soon as i know what its like to want it so much with no success and im guessing you feel the same if its your 1,2 or 3rd dosnt really matter!
