My husband doesn't travel very often. Thank goodness!! Since we've been married he's gone on two business trips. One to CA and another to Ft. Walton Beach, FL. He brought me and our 2 year old to the FL business trip since we live in FL. We have 6 kids..ages 23, 20, 19, 18, 16 and almost 3. We have been married for 2 years but we are an older couple! (I'm 41 and he's 47).
He informed me Saturday that from Dec 7th until Dec 15th he's being sent to South Korea. He sent me his work training schedule (he's training a class on some equipment), and he sent me the itinerary. I have 3 boys in the Military and I wasn't too worried about my husbands trip until my son who is in the Army said guys love being stationed there because of the women. As I was helping my husband map out his hotel, restaurants and travel routes I found out he's near the red light district and clubs. Then another article talked about how Daegu women are the prettiest and considered "10's" because plastic surgery is HUGE there and perfection is key. Okay, so now I'm a little worried! He has never done anything to cause mistrust...I think it's more of a self-worth thing for me. My first husband who was in the Air Force cheated on me after 12 years of marriage (I found out because I got a treatable STD after he got back from a deployment). I worry that if my husband is there- and he knows he won't get caught he might do something. I told him how I felt and he said he would never do that to me and that I have nothing to worry about (heard that from my first husband). I know I have to trust him..I don't have a choice. This causes me such anxiety! I'm a Christian and I know that I need to put my trust and faith in God! It's so much easier said than done..do any other women struggle with this? How do you cope?
