Feed, feed and feed again! The more you feed your baby, the more you will make.
Make sure you drink and eat plenty. You need around 500 extra calories a day when you're breastfeeding. Also get as much rest as possible.

I got piles of advice when I was struggling with this last time around, and the following list is my plan for when this baby is born:

-drink "Mother's Milk" tea

-drink fenugreek tea until you or the baby starts smelling like maple syrup

-try to think relaxing thoughts when nursing the baby so your milk lets down more quickly

-eat porridge for breakfast every morning

-drink a beer a day

-don't get yourself in stressful situations (Ha! as if this is totally in our control, but I guess having a newborn doesn't count as stressful... I'm assuming it means don't volunteer to be in charge of a fundraising drive or something)

There are also drugs that your doctor can prescribe to up your milk supply, but they didn't work for me so I won't be trying that again.
