My son who is 7 yrs just started at his new school, he did really good the first 3 days, but now its very hard to get him to go to school. He has the biggest fit. I half to pack him to the car and in to the school, he crys at the top of his lungs. I have already asked him if someone is bullying or picking on him and he says no I even asked the teachers their and they all say no he is one of the most popular kids already. Hes fine when he gets into the classroom its just getting to school. Someone please help, I cant do this everyday it breaks my heart. Jenn

I have to deal with this similar situation with my son but he is in kinder. I talk with him the night before about how good of a morning we will have, and what I expect from him. Then in the morning we talk about it on the way to school and how brave he will be. Most mornings this works. I also gave him a special rock that I painted for him so he can have mom with him in his pocket all day. Kinda like a worry rock. It helped incredibly. My son is also fine once he gets to school, it is getting him there that is the problem.
