My 9yrs old daughter had lice about 4mos. ago. I was able to get rid of it & treated it with rid. Now my toddle has it. He stays home. Just the two kids had it. I feel that my house is contaminated with lice. I need help!

I had a very bad similar problem myself. I was pregnant at the time. All we could do was treat with things like Rid but my ex husband had to do it because again I was pregnant. I looked through the hair and all. We sprayed with the lice spray for couches, mattresses etc and put up plush toys for weeks. We vaccumed to no end and washed everything and dried it in a hot dryer several times. There is no least expensive way to treat it. Even some of the home remedy for the hair I was told about did not work. Eventually, we had to go to the doctor to get something for the hair. I wish there were other inexpensive ways to do this. Even after a time, Rid and the other versions of lice treatments do not work anymore...like other bugs, lice do become immune to them.
