I have a one year whom I just weaned this month. How to I avoid pregnancy till when am ready to have another baby? And am not on any for of contraceptives

Breastfeeding is not birth control, so if you are not already pregnant... count yourself lucky. Some women do not ovulate while nursing... others ovulate as early as 6-8 weeks after birth.

There are two ways to avoid pregnancy... don't have sex... or use a reliable form of birth control (or two methods such as condoms and the pill).

You've actually been lucky not to have conceived before now if you haven't used contraception for the last year. What an odd question for an adult to ask. "How do I avoid pregnancy?" Isn't that sex ed. 101?

I agree, what other option is there? Use a condom every single time, get on other BC or remain abstinent.
