My daughter is almost 8 months and I'd really like to wean her from bf'ing, but she has no desire for a bottle or formula. I've tried probably 7 bottles and 3 different formula and no luck... My husband and I plan to go down south in March so I have a little over a month to wean her.
Anyone have any good ideas on what to do?!
Thanks

No worries!
I am seeing a counsellor yes. I am supposed to call Motherisk to find out if celexa is ok to take or not. Just haven't got around to it!

Well, my best friend has been on Prozac consistently for over a decade... through 3 pregnancies and nursing her boys between 10 and 18 months each. I don't know anything about starting meds while breastfeeding though.

You are in counseling, right?

Sorry. I wish I had better advice, but I've never weaned a child that young... so have no experience to advise from.

What are some meds you can take while bf'ing ?? I was prescribed celexa and was told to wean first before taking... I don't really want to up my milk and would much rather wean her... :)

♥ I'm sorry! Are you in counseling for the anxiety and depression? I know there are meds safe to take while breastfeeding, but my body has never liked meds anyway. Has your doctor given you anything (advice or medication) to help the milk production?

Lol she is a smarty :)
I don't want to wean really but I am suffering from post partum depression and anxiety and am not producing enough milk either. So she has me up all night nursing which doesn't help the anxiety.. It's just a vicious cycle and we gotta get out of it.

Smart girl knows what's good for her. ♥

Sorry the only advice I have (other than to not wean) is to keep at it.
