I need advice on how to stop breastfeeding. I would like to wean my boy around age 1 which he will be in about a month.
I have very low milk supply now. He doesn't take bottle with anything but water. He still wakes up at night 3-5 times.
How can I start weaning him? Am supposed to replace breastmilk with something else?, if so how much do I give him?. He doesn't like formula.

After a year, you don't need to replace breastmilk with anything like you would before a year . You can give cow's milk after a year though

I would wait a month and then start removing a session per week. Weaning slowly will prevent discomfort for you
