weaning issues

Hello Mums

I started weaning my little boy at 5 months (he is six months old now) and past three days every time I give him food he just sticks his tongue out and screams and does not swallow the food. He will leave it on his tongue until it is all out of his mouth. I have always given him home food. He was already on two meals a day and now we are back to square one. Can anyone please help.

It's fine... and pretty typical of some babies. Many aren't even ready for solids yet at his age (though a lot are ready).

As long as he is consuming enough breast milk or formula... he is perfectly fine. Just give the solids a break for a bit and try again in a few days... Once a day (after the breast or a bottle) is typically plenty at 6 months.
