My son will be 10 months soon but everyone keeps telling me to start weening him now, so that he is fully weened by 1 year old. He is breastfed. Any tips or advice on how to do this? He is very attached. He still wakes up at night to eat. Also how do I dry up my milk, because I still get engorged after 4 hrs of not emptying them out.
THANK YOU!

It's actually bottles that you're supposed to wean your child off by one year. (because of tooth decay) Breastfeeding can go much longer, up to 2 years or more.
