I have been feeling really down and out about this baby weight especially since I am going back to work and have not lost the weight I know it took me 9 months to gain the weight so I guess 3 months to take it off would be crazy. I have alot of anxiety how will I be a good mom, lose weight, be a good wife, and go to work. I need to relax! Yikes how do we women do it!

I am a new mom with a 3 month old son too and am trying to get my pregnancy body back as well, be a good wife, be a great mother, maintain a household and finish my college degree online. You are not alone with feeling anxiety with being overwhelmed. It just takes time!! Hopefully it becomes easier with time :)

I have a girl (24) and a boy (17). THey are my world. I also have a two year old grandchild and one more on the way. I have a great son inlaw. I do get along better with their dad these days than early on. We are not friends but get along for the kids sake. I am working on baby blankets for the kiddos.

Well, its been 11 years almost 12. My youngest is almost out of school. It was difficult but in the end I got the most important things out of it though. My kids unconditional love and respect. I had to earn those but it was worth it.

We have been together since college it's been about 14 years. We have been married going on 3 years. We have had our moments but we have been able to push through. I waited until I was married and 31 before we had her everything was planned. Trust me it still get hard sometimes. I am sure your situation is difficult that is why I say to myself I must take care of myself as well I don't want to get lost in the process.

Its not easy and its harder if you end up in a situation similar to mine where you are divorced and share custody with the father who is married too. It makes it more difficult too. I am glad you have your man with you and not like a lot of other stories I have heard where the girl had sex, got pregnant and the guy left her. Its rare to hear when the couple actually stays together.

You do need to relax. If people liked you before you were pregnant and got the weight from being pregnant; they should like you for who you are not what you look like. It takes work to be a good mom even when the baby is 24 years old and 17 years old. Trust me, I think infants are easier than almost adult children sometimes. It takes work for a good marriage and relationship with your husband too not how you look. If a man thinks that you need to look thin or like those super models he is not worth it. Its superficial. If you work on weight loss eat good things, do not deprive yourself of treats, and do some sort of exercise even if it is just walking. In time, you can loose the weight. But sometimes it all does not come off as your body has gone through a lot of changes from the organs getting pushed around for the baby to have room to your hips even widening out to make room for baby as well. Even giving birth stretches certain areas of a woman's body. It takes time to get the body healed from child birth because its one of the hardest things on a body and do not let anyone tell you different unless they had a baby themselves and found a way to push something as large as a watermelon through a small opening.
