I had a baby two years ago and have been unable to loose the weight aroung my middle. I have a very small frame and to most people they tell me I do not need to loos weight. Any ideas out there

im a wellnes coach and a herbalife distributor. i have been on the herbalife programme for only 1 week and have lost 2kgs and 9cms from my waist, tummy, hips and thighs. my husband lost 2kgs and 26cms from those same areas, that was all with no exercise. my email is stevealexlloyd@bigpond.com if u would like more info

Check out the Blood Type Diet. My mom has lost over 20 pounds on it, and I'm about to start on it.

I've done weight wathcers. I love it! Just before I got pregnant last year I lost 23 lbs in about 3 months. They make it easy. You can have anything as long as you plan for it in your point system. So if I was craving something I would work it in. It was so easy! I need to get at it again.

Thanks Ill keep trying.It my be the loose skin as sugested and I dont think there is anything I can do about that.

i've been working out on a wii fit as well...stick to it, it's helped me ALOT. i think the hula hooping really works out your middle. and the yoga.

Sit ups and swimming best thing have a go most local swim centres now do mommy and toddlers keep fit programmes where you can excercise but spend quality time with baby too

Join sparkpeople.com. It has tons of exercises you can do and healthy meals. It also has groups you can join to talk with others as well as constant healthy information. This site is all about having a healthy lifestyle. I joined awhile ago and it is awesome. The many different activities I have gotten to work on at home and the gym has been so helpful. And the thousands of healthy meal choices is incredible. It is a great motivational site.

Are you sure it is weight and not just loose skin? Can you feel your abs underneath it or just cellulite? I just downloaded a video that focuses on your core for the most part and though I haven't tried it, I think it is just the thing for the job. It is called "Crunch Fitness Super Slim Down." It combines both yoga and pilates. Maybe it will work for you. Give it time, it is hard to lose the last 10 lbs!!

I try to walk every day and have recently started wii fit. I try to work out about a 1/2 hr a day but just can not seem to make any change, It is strange the weight is like a tire around my middle. I have no extra weight any were else. Just in my belly and lower back. I just cant stand it!!!!!

I have the same prob around my middle too and I hate it! I've been going to the gym recently and have found sit-ups are the best way to help start to shift it! I do conventional ones and alternate elbow to knee (right elbow to left knee etc) and apparently they will help pull in the side muscles as well as tummy ones! Hope that helps a bit.

Do you exercise? I joined a gym and love group fitness.Pilates and body sculpting exercises is what I would recommend.

Depends on your time and money situation. My Mom lost a bunch of weight when I was in college by walking. She was walking a mile at lunch and at least 2-3 every evening with a group of friends when she was at her peak. That is free, but it takes a good bit of time. Maybe take the baby out in a stroller around the block every evening?
