I'm looking to lose about 15-20 lbs overall. Problem is that I'm home all day with the kids so I don't really have the ability to get a gym. (not that I'm one for working out anyways) I just had my daughter 3 months ago, it seemed like the first couple weeks I dropped most of the weight but now I'm gaining it all back. I downloaded a fitness app on my phone I've been trying to use for counting calories setting a 1200 calorie/day limit. The weather is getting cold now also so I'm not going to be able to take the kids for walks.

So if any moms out there have any tips on their weight loss after baby, please share! Its tough to eat healthy when I don't have the healthiest food/snacks here for the kids and hubby. Has anyone had any healthy meal plans for picky eaters (including myself!) Or have any moms been able to drop the pounds with changing their eating rather than just be a crazy gym goer? Like I said, not my thing. I'm about 5 9 and weigh about 175 and would like to drop back down to about 155.

Any tips are greatly appreciated from any of you stay at home mom's out there! :)

I am a stay at home mom with two kids and the little one is breastfeeding. I lost my post pregnancy weight by doing 4 simple steps.
1. Plenty of water (100oz at least)
2. Light belly exercise
3. Nursing
4. Mummy magic weight-loss tea

Also apparantly the coil makes you lose weight but personally im getting the implant as I prefer it also try a colon cleanse pill as my friend mum of 3 swears by them as it flushes you out and stops your body clinging onto unnecessary fat which I desperately need to happen as became bit of a junk food addict during pregnancy but need to keep in mind these things take time who ever said anything worth doing was going to be easy

Its been 3weeks since I gave birth going back to the gym for 1st time on saturday hating my body as im short and broad unlucky family genes but am only 20 so will try anything to get back to how I used to be but all week im too tired and stay at home as can't get out at the mo maybe you could try a fitness DVD maybe a pilates DVD if your not ready for high energy plan also you could try replacing lunch and dinner with those shakes as they fill you up digest slower and very quick and convenient good luck

I lost 3stone after the birth of my baby...But went on the injection and have put it all back on now :( stay away from the injection it is evil! Anyways all I did was play on the wii for a couple of hours a night...Then I swopped my wii for Kinect for Xbox which is basically the same thing except the Kinect will show u how to do it properly and you can do it while the kids are at home and they can even join in if they so wish! Plus u don't have to travel to a gym u can do it right at home...To loose weight a work out 5times a week for about 1 hour a day would loose you 2lbs a week! EATING SALADS AND CRAP WONT TONE YOU UP IT WILL HELP TO LOOSE THE WEIGHT...BUT IF YOUR LOOKING TO LOOSE BABY FAT' then your best bet would be exercise 4-5 times a week for atleast an hour a day and eating small portions of salads and live on apples lol :D xxxxx

I have to say the only way I ended up losing weight was drinking a ton more water and exercise.

80% of weight loss is what you eat, 20% is exercise. Together they make a great formula for weight loss. Try to eat healthier and move around, even if it's walking, or get a treadmill and use it when the kids are sleeping, or when you have someone to watch the kids.
