Hello :)
I do know to go to he Dr and have been an he said to just return if it keeps happening he is really useless! So I'm asking other mummy's . I had my daughter 14 weeks ago via emergency c section. The last 2 weeks I've had brown spotting. I have had two periods since having bub but my December one is a no show, I started bleeding after sex with the other half but it took a good few hours for the blood to show, I have period pain back pain an a pain in my left side but no period? I do have pcos and conceived bub with Metformin the Dr has put me back on this also. I'm just wondering if this can be normal as like I said my dr is useless the nurses are rude and no one seems to be helping! Please help put my mind at ease mummy's! Also I have been excersisng since 7 weeks I have now stopped, you don't think I have ripped my scar open internally? I did have a smear in December of last year so I'm sure that should be ok? Any advice is appreciated!

I am happy to offer whatever insight I can. If sex produces pain and/or bleeding on a regular basis and your doctor blows you off, find a new one. Congrats on your new baby! I hope that's going well! At 14 weeks baby can be so fun! I am amazed you are even willing to have sex, my poor hubby went without for a long time! My boobs were killing me.
Now this may be TMI but vaginas are peculiar and after you have a baby your whole system can take six months to recover completely. So; spotting (brownish or red), short term bleeding, mucus discharge and some pain with intercourse is all within the normal limits. If, you have bright red blood (not your period) that soaks a pad or more an hour, heavy green, yellow or foul smelling discharge or pain that is unrelieved by tylenol or advil and persists for for than 24 hours, call your doctor or go to the ER.
Did you need help conceiving? PCOS can be a real trouble when it comes to creating the tiny humans. Enjoy your baby, relax, and enjoy your partner too.

As long as the bleeding stopped and it was not a huge amount, it was probably from having sex. It is possible that your uterus may have contracted a bit, your partner may have caused a little trauma to your cervix, or just activity in the area started bleeding back up again. Was it bright red? How much and how long did it persist?

Do NOT worry about your internal incision. If that had ruptured you'd be in agony! It can take a while to recover from any childbirth especially a emergency C-section. The brown spotting may be your December period, just at a weird time. If you are nursing that can goof your cycles up too. PCOS is probably the culprit of the discomfort. Have you had an ultrasound or at least a pelvic exam to be certain you don't have any new cysts? Finally, are you sure you are not pregnant?

I didn't have any of this the last 2 periods, yes it was like egg whites but like 3 eggs lol and very thick ive never seen this before so it caught me by suprise. I'm sure I'm not pregnant ive not taken a test but we used protection and I did have a period November the last time we had sex before last week was October.. I've had this pain now for about 3-4 days and the period pain also. Because the funny thing the day after my period was due I had a little red blood for a few wipes then it vanished it's so odd! But like I said my dr is hopeless ive told him and he says come back if it continues so our plan was to try sex again an if I bleed then something must be wrong? And my period well with pcos I'm used to it being erratic but it's just the pain that's mainly bothering me now as I'm hoping with excersisng ive not done any damage. You've been ever so helpful Sarah thank you so much for being so kind.

If you had this heavy mucus the last time you had sex, and you had the pain in your side about the same time, you may have been ovulating right around then. When you ovulate your vaginal discharge changes to something like raw egg-white (gross description but it was all I could think of). Is that what it was like?

Pain in your side and back can be a sign that your are ovulating, so use BC if you don't want another now. Since you have PCOS, I wonder if it could be a cyst? I think a pelvic exam or ultrasound could be useful to at least rule it out. I due suspect your period could have been that spotting. have you done a home test to be sure your are not pregnant? maybe?

Thank you 😊 well this was the 3rd time after baby didnt happen the other 2
Times! So you think the spotting the week before could of been just my hormones/period then? Because the spotting happened a week before my period was due, then we had sex an this happened... What is this period pain/back an side pain I have all a product from sex or maybe my period is coming? I just thought my body had fixed itself as I had 2 periods exactly 26days apart.

Not TMI, no worries, that's what other moms are for! I suspect it was all a product of intercourse, especially if it had been a while. Did it happen both times? Or just the first time you had sex after baby?

Well that's what we thought, but as it's all new for me ive been worrying. It was bright red didn't bleed until about 4-5hrs after... It was red for just one wipe then I spotted brown the next day little bits of brown all day. And a huge amount of white/clear mucus with the brown tinge. Sorry for tmi Sarah, I do appreciate your help.
