what age did you take away your childs nook?

In my humble opinion, once a child is capable of holding a cup to drink from, they no longer need a pacifier to suck.
When I was weaning my sons I breastfed only at night when they were going to sleep. When they no longer showed interest in breastfeeding their "pacifiers" (nook) were eliminated.
I forget what age it is, but any child who still uses a pacifier past a certain age stands a chance of ruining incoming teeth. Check with your pediatrician about what age that may be.
