When I first got with my boyfriend, his son was 7 and they took every shower together, this didnt stop till the boy was 8. this bothered me...was i in the wrong?
also when he was 9, we were staying in a hotel, i had a class so while i was gone they took a bath together in the jacuzzzi tub, naked...this really bothered me too...

I haven't personally been faced with this as our eldest is only 17mths, but we are going to be using the 'as long as child & adult feel comfortable' rule, we'll do it.

Hummm, well in some cultures this is very normal. I am not sure from which culture your bf comes from, but he ought to understand that in 'typical' American culture, this is not normal. That he lacks that awarness is a red flag. That you were uncomfortable and, it seems, said nothing is also a red flag of concern. If you have this type of concern about your child, you speak and you follow through with action if your words are not respected.
I was not there, so can't say for sure .... but, yah, there are some questions that need to be asked

I don't see a huge deal with this. My son is only 4-1/2 but he loves shared bath time. His dad is his hero and he wants to do everything with him. If it were an 7-8 year old daughter bathing with dad, then I would feel different.

I'm 24 and I'll still walk into my mom's closet when she's changing if I'm over at her house chatting with her. Or I'll pop into the bathroom to say hi if I've stopped over while she's having a shower.
I also don't hurry to cover up if my son comes running in the room and I'm not dressed. I don't make a big deal about it. He'll stop doing it when he gets older and it makes him uncomfortable.
It's never been a taboo thing for me and I don't think there is anything dirty or bad about it.
