When he's potty trained. =) That's when we stopped. But if you are worried he will fall, change him on the floor. No right or wrong answer.

I never actually used one as I could never get the hang of changing them sideways. So I will say whenever you feel it isn't safe any longer.

I still use one with my 16 month old but it's really just the top of her dresser so I don't have to lift her high and she's not wiggling too much yet but when she does we'll start using the floor.

I never used a changing table, so I'll just say.... whenever you get tired of lifting him up there. The bed or floor always worked just fine for us.

The changing table we have is attached to the crib. We only used it until my son was 4 months old. But it wasn't very long, and he's HUGE for his age, always has been so there just wasn't room for his length.

(He's 35-36+ pounds, and 36+ inches tall, 22 months now) He's about the size of most 3-4 year olds.

I never actually used one with my kids - I just had a mat on the floor, much easier with a wriggling toddler :P Do whatever you think is best. If it is getting dangerous, or if your child is too big, stop.

I believe you do know, but let me be one to reassure you. Find a new, safer place to change him/her.
