Just wondering people's opinion...my husband allows his 10 year old to wear eye shadow, mascara and bright lipstick, I have said only when we go out to dinner, I think it would be allowed all the time, say at the mall, just wanted to know if I am over reacting when I say it is way to young?

My 10 year old is allowed nail polish and lip gloss (sometimes). That will most likely be it until teenage years.... We'll have to see when we get there.

I don't think there is any age where they "should be" wearing it. But I would say they COULD be wearing it starting as a teen ager...a little mascara, gloss....no shadow...liner around 16. 10 is to young.

Personally I think it's too young. MAYBE a little lip gloss and blush, but I don't think they should be wearing full makeup until they're at least 15-16. It's important to teach kids confidence in themselves and that they're beautiful without makeup.
