What age was your child fully toilet trained (daytime only)?

My 4 year old son was really well toilet trained and now has gone the other way again. He doesn't seem to care if he stays in his wet clothes and doesn't tell me if his pants are wet. He knows he's doing it but yet still keeps doing it. My husband and I have given him incentives to keep his pants dry for the day - if he wets his pants before his nap in the afternoon he doesn't get his blanket to sleep with and then also doesn't get it for bedtime at night. Nothing seems to be working. Any advise/ideas?

Have you taken him to the doctor to rule out an infection? I'd do that first, but if it's clear... I have no ideas.

My nephew wet his pants at least daily for a LONG time. Only time worked because his mom tried EVERYTHING, but he's 5 now and still wets sometimes (not often).
